Helpline for families
The following service is a helpline for families who are going through stressful times, financial worries, amongst lots of other issues that families face.
The helpline is free and the lines are open from 6pm – 10pm weekdays and 10am – 1pm on weekends.
The helpline is run by Family Action and the number is: 0808 802 6666

Open Minds
Open Minds allows Calderdale’s multi-agency emotional health and wellbeing taskforce to provide advice, information, support and signposting to young people about emotional health and wellbeing. Their specially designed website has been developed with extensive input and consultation with young people, as well as a range of professionals.

This assessment helps identify the best plan of support for the young carer and their family.
